Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RecruitAICopilot (“the Service”), operated by Philip Chua, an individual based in Singapore (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorised to bind that firm.
1. The Service
RecruitAICopilot is a tool that helps recruiters in the Singapore financial-advisory sector identify and reach prospective candidates. It detects public career signals, scores candidates against criteria you define, and drafts outreach messages for your review. The Service assists you; it does not act autonomously on your behalf.
2. Beta status
The Service is currently offered as a private beta and is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and occasional interruptions may occur.
3. Accounts & security
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are provisioned by us; you must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will:
- Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, including the PDPA and the rules of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”).
- Comply with LinkedIn’s Terms of Service. The browser extension reads only profiles you actively visit in your own session; you must not use the Service to perform automated scraping or to send messages or connection requests automatically.
- Review every AI-drafted message before sending it. You are solely responsible for the content of any outreach you send and for ensuring it is accurate, lawful, and MAS-compliant.
- Not misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, or use it to process data you have no lawful basis to process.
5. Compliance assistance is not advice
The Service’s compliance check is an automated aid that flags potential issues; it is not legal, regulatory, or financial advice and does not guarantee compliance. Responsibility for compliance with MAS rules, the PDPA, and LinkedIn’s terms remains with you.
6. Fees & payment
- Fees consist of a one-time setup fee and a recurring subscription fee per the plan you select. Fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars and are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise.
- Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
7. Cancellation & data return
- You may cancel at any time. There is no exit penalty or clawback.
- On cancellation we will, on request, provide an export (CSV) of your data, then revoke access and delete your account data, subject to the Privacy Policy.
- Pre-paid fees for the current period are non-refundable.
8. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service and its software. You retain rights in your own data and in the criteria, content, and voice profile you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to operate the Service for you.
9. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where we process candidate data on your behalf, the Data Processing Agreement applies and forms part of these Terms.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that signals, scores, or SG/PR likelihood are accurate; they are probabilistic aids for your own judgement. To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or of applicable law, including any outreach content you send.
12. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified to you. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
